Sevartham Alliance Trust is the organised expression of a commitment that has existed for a long time — in the lanes, villages, and communities of India's most underserved people.
Sevartham was not born from a boardroom or a funding proposal. It grew from individuals who could not walk past suffering without acting. Long before formal registration, our founders were distributing food in flood-affected villages, running informal learning sessions for out-of-school children, and organising eye camps in remote districts where no one else would go.
Over years of consistent field work, we built a deep understanding of what communities in India truly need — not charity delivered from a distance, but sustained partnership built on respect. When we formalised as a registered Trust, we already knew our programs, our people, and our principles.
Today, Sevartham Alliance Trust operates across India — in classrooms, homes, fields, and clinics of the country's most underserved communities. Registered in Uttar Pradesh, our reach spans the nation.
An India where a child's future is shaped by potential, not postal address — where poverty is not a life sentence, disability not a dead end, and every family can access education, healthcare, and dignity.
To build community-owned, evidence-backed programs in education, healthcare, nutrition, livelihood, and disaster response — with full accountability to donors and the communities we serve.
Radical transparency in finances. Respectful engagement in every community. Measurable outcomes in every program. नि:स्वार्थ सेवा — Selfless Service — as our operating principle, not merely our motto.
Every person we work with is a partner, not a recipient. We enter communities with listening as our first tool and respect as our non-negotiable foundation.
84% direct programme expenditure. No hidden costs, no ambiguity. Accountability is a moral duty to every donor and every beneficiary.
All programs are co-designed with local leaders, use local workers, and are built to sustain themselves long after formal project cycles end.
We serve without distinction of religion, caste, gender, or geography. Every person in our reach has an equal claim on our efforts.
We measure what we do. If a program is not working, we adapt. We do not persist with methods that fail those we serve.
Our staff and volunteers bring their whole hearts to this work. At Sevartham, seva is a calling — not just a job description.
Every program is rooted in one belief — that every life, wherever it is lived, deserves dignity, opportunity, and care.
Education for every child — breaking the cycle of illiteracy through Vidya Kits, scholarships, and learning support across India's underserved communities.
Cataract sight restoration, menstrual health awareness, and disability support — dignity-centred healthcare for communities the formal system never reached.
No one in our reach goes hungry or cold — regular food and clothing distribution drives reaching families who need them most across India.
Sustainable livelihoods through skill training — empowering women and youth with marketable skills, financial literacy, and peer networks that create real independence.
When floods, drought, or calamity strikes — food, medicine, and relief deployed within hours. We move before the headlines do.
Sevartham Alliance Trust is registered in Uttar Pradesh and carries the values of the heartland into communities across India. Our field teams are not visitors — they live and work within the communities they serve.
From urban slums to remote tribal belts, from flood-affected Terai villages to drought-hit districts — Sevartham's presence is built on long-term relationships, not short-term projects.
Every donation, every volunteer hour, every CSR partnership becomes part of the seva described on this page.
